Teresa Christine joined our family on the 17th of June, 2010 at 10:41 pm. I of course couldn't have been happier. Labor was long and I was tired. Relieved that she had come and was healthy and beautiful. The children got to be there and of course can't get enough of their new little baby sister. She will be a week old tomorrow and already I can't believe she was ever inside of me. As for now we are resting and acquainting ourselves with eachother. The Lord has been very kind and has blessed me with many angels here and from beyond. I have done this before and yet this truly feels like a whole new adventure.
In anticipation of Teresa's birth, I tried to get as many things done as possible. Isaac and Katie, with the help of their Dad, have worked on getting summer jobs. Isaac started a trash bin cleaning job for residnts in the neighborhood and Katie is working as a mother's helper. William, feeling left out in the money making, wanted me to help him find something he could do. He really wants more Star Wars Legos. So the day before Teresa came Uncle Rick and I made a candy stand out of lumber from the basement. I will post a pic later. I also bought the candy and the following morning William couldn,t wait to go make some money. I did alot of sewing as well. While I definately have felt the nesting instinct, the creative bug has settled and made home inside my body. So Katie has gotten several skirts, I made another carseat cover in addition to receiving blankets for Teresa. And there are even more projects afoot.
My sis Chris and I, planted a garden together this year. We have 14 tomato plants, 5 rows of lettuce, two rows of cucumbers and one row of carrots. There are also some pepper plants. Everything is growing nicely and we will probably be eating our first salad tonight. Can't wait!
I will be back later! enjoy the pics!
