Time flies too fast. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Day. Ours was relaxed and very nice. We spent most of the day with my family at my brothers home. The Schaffners, Adam and Beth, were very hospitable. The food was great and the company even better. This what makes the holiday's so great. I even took pictures. I am trying really hard to remember that's why we bought a camera. ha ha ha
Life of course is moving faster than I can keep up. Although for the first year in a long time I am actually doing good on Christmas gifts so far. I have always been afraid to venture out on Black Friday, but this year I did go out later in the day with Kathy. We had a really good time together. Fortunately for us the longest line we experienced was at Kohl's. We didn't have to wait too long and were very happy for that. I think I am going to stay with my track record and sleep in next year as well.
We have started practicing for the upcoming Meyers Christmas party. All the grandchildren in the Schaffner family will be singing and talking about Christmas. They all sound so great and I am highly impressed. Of course my Mom is awesome and has written her own words to Jolly old St. Nickolas. The verses reflect each grandkid and their personality in some way. I will post the verses as soon as I get them.
